Q – Tell us about your business.
Hi, my name is Grace and I’m the founder of Financially Empowered. My mission is to help women be more financially empowered, better manage and understand their business finances. I do this by running financial literacy workshops for different organisations, including schools and not-for-profits, as well as consulting for women in business.
Q – What issues were you facing in your business?
I was struggling to keep track of the number of clients and inquiries that I was getting. Through the workshops that I run, I get a lot of different leads and people that are interested in my services, but I was failing to followup on those potential sales, so I decided that I would look for something that would help me to get that together.
Q – What has stopped you from doing this before?
Not really understanding how to go about it, not really having an understanding of the different CRM systems that are available and how should I actually implement it, and what exactly it would do for me and how I would integrate it with the other softwares, like for example my accounting software.
Q – Why did you choose Zoho CRM?
I did try one other software and I wasn’t able to get the integration that I’m able to with Zoho. After a session with Frances, I just could see exactly how it could fit in with my business.
Q – What has been your experience of Zoho CRM?
Oh, it’s been fantastic. It’s saving me a lot of time. I’m able to streamline some processes and I’m often thinking about how I can incorporate Zero into … I mean Zoho into what I’m doing in my business.
Q – Do you consider the CRM implementation to be a success?
Definitely. For me, that success is being able to empower more women, and so then I can keep in touch with them along my journey.
Q – What was the surprise bonus for you?
Just how easy it’s been to incorporate into my business. I’m often finding different plug-ins and add-ons I can use. For example, the survey, which now is going to be a new part of my business.
Q – Why did you choose to work with FWRD?
FWRD was recommended to me by a previous client and with my interactions with Frances I found it to be very approachable, so I was happy to go ahead and more forward.
Q – What would you say to someone who is still on the fence?
I say do it, even before you start, if you’re in the process of setting up your business, because along the way as you’re networking you meet a lot of people who can be potential clients or mentors, people that you can collaborate with. It’s good to be able to have that one place where you can keep all that information.
